This policy explains what data Pet Life stores, where it’s kept and who can see it.
What the app stores
Only what you enter: your pets' details (name, species, breed, weight, birth date and photo), vaccines, medications and vet consultations, plus your reminder preferences.
Where it's kept
On your device and in your private iCloud database, through Apple's iCloud. The developer has no access to this data. If you share a pet, its data stays in your iCloud and is visible only to the people you invite, until you stop sharing.
What the app doesn't do
There's no account or login. The app doesn't collect usage data, doesn't show ads, doesn't track you across apps or websites and doesn't share anything with third parties. A pet's data is only shared when you invite someone who also uses the app; it isn't exported or sent outside iCloud.
Notifications
Reminders are local notifications, scheduled on your own device. Nothing is sent to a server to deliver them.
Photos
The app only accesses the photo you choose for your pet, and uses it only as the pet's picture inside the app.
Camera
The camera is only used when you scan the vaccination card. It’s read on the device, by Apple Intelligence; the photo isn’t stored and never leaves the device.
Purchases
In-app purchases are made through the App Store and handled by Apple. The app never sees your payment details, only whether a purchase was made.
Deleting your data
Deleting a pet deletes all of its records. To delete everything, remove the app and delete its data from iCloud in your device's Settings app → your name → iCloud.
